Like her sister Morticia, Hortense … The Dessert Witch is a piece of collage art by Northern California Artist Patti Foster.  After combing flea markets, antique stores and  yard sales for vintage metal cooking, baking and serve ware, Patti shops her “garage stash” for inspiration and then brings her vision to life in her laundry room.  This one-of-a-kind creation was fashioned from an oval bread basket, a dessert tray, a handled sugar bowl, a metal mold and other assorted trinkets and treasures to add the finishing touches.  Hortense is an eye-catching 32 inches tall and would be perfect standing watch over your Halloween Treats throughout the season.
