Slainte is Gaelic for Cheers …

And Good Health, too.  According to legend, Ireland’s patron saint spread Christianity throughout the country as a missionary during the 5th century.  St. Patrick so often used a young sprig of clover known as a “shamrock” as a metaphor for the Christian Trinity that over time the shamrock became the universal symbol of Irish pride.   Showcase that “Hats Off to You” spirit of every Irish celebration by using this symbol of Irish pride just about everywhere leading up to St Patrick’s annual celebration on March 17th – on table runners, kitchen towels, as confetti and even hanging ornaments shaped like shamrocks.  The Cheers Word Bricks set the stage for Irish eyes to smile and remember, Slainte is Gaelic for Cheers!
