Valeria Love by Jenene Mortimer is one of several Valentine’s Day figurines from this “growing in popularity” American Folk Artist.  Jenene Mortimer’s talents were discovered at the age of 4 when she began playing simple songs on the piano without any training.  Her Dad wanted her to become a concert pianist, but her love for all things art-related had a stronger pull.  Jenene spent her childhood years drawing and sewing, but it wasn’t until she was an adult that she really pursued her creative interests and fine-tuned them.  Jenene is the mother of 6 and currently lives with her husband David and 2 of their 6 children in Sacramento, California.
